Vegan Feast

One of our lovely friends from the Netherlands came to visit us a few days ago. She taught me so many things, but the two most memorable involve how to make an authentic crepe pancake (which doesn't involve a recipe but rather more of a "feeling" of the ingredients), as well as tricks to prevent sobbing my heart out while chopping up an onion (hold water in your mouth without swallowing).

On the last night before her sad departure, we decided to have a good family dinner. Although she was exhausted from the jet lag and all of the Boston fun, we still had a wonderful Vegan meal. It was so much fun laughing with her, playing with her, cooking with her, and just getting to know her better. The company really did make the meal that much better!

Asian sesame almond strawberry spinach salad with avocados,
Seared asparagus with balsamic and garlic
Squash, eggplant, mushroom, and onion cheese-free lasagna
and some more bread, ofcourse!

  1. I wish I could cook the way you can! And make the cups/paintings/blogs you make! So much talent, wow! xxx
